Dneska jsem měla chuť na nějakou specialitku. Tak tedy červený Baoshan Yesheng z divokých stromů. Ztratil s lety u mě v krabici něco chuti, ale stále má příjemnou hřejivost a širokou, vzdušnou lehkost s ostrým bezovým ocáskem.

@white2tea.bsky.social's Granted was my tea for today. Sticky thick texture, baked fruit notes, back of throat lingering sweetness, beautiful aromatics. Almost yesheng adjacent in taste? Still a bit ashy, but blame my storage of the sample. Subtle calming mental effect.

This is really cool. This lab found a way to use diffusion for speculative decoding w/ a potential 10x speed up in inference speed
We still haven’t seen the extent of optimizations available for LLMs… current gen hardware is going to be able to run some amazing models in a year, I bet

im pretty sure a lot of yabao is actually from NSV - "nonstandard varietals", which are often avoided for puerh productions other than in special cases (eg, 'yesheng' productions)

I have heard yesheng varietals attributed as caffeine-free, I wonder if it's these wilder talinensis and sinensis crossbreeds producing that result. Shame that it's not the case for plain old talinensis though.
