(though the Wens were meant to have bad ending after all so i dont really want xuanyu to be part of it just bc they were abducted by a Wen cultivator *scratch head* Zhao Zhuliu pls reconsider your decision)

Oooooh,
Maybe, maybe,
But then that begs the question; is he actually WEN Zhuliu or would this be before he joins the Wens? 👀👀👀

Yes! It's Zhuliu! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 Grab yourself a cookie!
Sadly I can't figure out the why/how of Zhuliu meeting & stealing Xuanyu, 😅😅 the man's a mystery to me & I think his reason would very much affect if he takes both Xuanyu & his mom, or just Xuanyu

Gems from my husband during Ep 16 of #CQL
HUSBAND COMING IN HOT WITH A THEORY I HADN'T CONSIDERED BEFORE:
"So Wen Zhuliu helped, right? He barely had a sip of the drugged liquor. He let it happen, at the very least. He's fully alert & unaffected, so it looks like he gave them a head start."

Gems from my husband during Ep 15 of #CQL
Wen Chao backs up after speaking with his father. "PLEASE FALL IN THE LAVA!!"
"Why doesn't Dommy Mommy slap this bitch???"
(My husband is asking the important questions!)
I am not looking forward to what comes next. 😭😭

"How is he inside the shell?!"
"Don't think about it too hard."
"No, no, that's bullshit, how is he inside the shell? Is he fucking Ant Man and shrunk down? IT WAS NOT THAT BIG. And what was that Castiel-headtouch, is that how they're communicating?"

He inhaled deeply, visibly steeling himself, and stared down at the table. “During the war,” he began reluctantly, then trailed off, chewing on his bottom lip, and gave a frustrated shake of his head. “There was a man with the Wen, his name was Wen Zhuliu. He had the ability to melt golden cores.”
It's Wednesday & this is apparently the 330th time we've played the word game! 😳 Today's word is...
✨ TRAIL ✨
Find the word in any WIP & share the sentence containing it. All writers welcome. #wordgamewednesday

I love what #weiwuxian says to Wen Zhuliu here.

clear about Wei Wuxian’s impending demise, Wen Zhuliu ignores his doubts. He thinks it is unlikely that a rare ability like his can remain unnoticed. So, if there is someone else, they will soon be revealed. But instead, this cordless person returns and Wen Zhuliu dies without knowing the truth.

#mdzs thought of the day is Wen Zhuliu being unsettled by his attempt to destroy Wei Wuxian’s core. He briefly wonders whether his technique failed, then whether there could be someone else with a similar skill. He never considers that such a strong core could be willingly given away,

Turns out Wen Ning killed Zhou Zhuliu the day they met, & when asked 'why?' responded with "I didn't like him."
(Don't ask how the two got sent back in time, it don't matter)

Does anyone have a good quality copy of the scene from #CQL where Wen Zhuliu is looking at his hand, wondering where WWX's core went? I, uh. Have a need.

In mdzs fandom people will just say “oh Nie Mingjue/Yu Ziyuan/Jin Zixuan/Wen Zhuliu/whoever time travel fixit” and you immediately know it’s this exact set up. Even if the character in question were not a character that died (which to be fair all of those are)

some of these matchups were so hard! Doing the "i like both" fucked me over a few times when I first did it (people only showed up once) so I did a "you must choose" run. There are few surprises on here tbh lol

I assume Zonghui is in a similar position to Wen Zhuliu, where he either had no family name or his family name was poison, but he was given the name Nie as part of his promotion
