So much American foreign policy seems to be subject to zombiism. That the state of affairs that brought about the policy has changed is irrelevant to the fact that no one can agree on what the new policy should be, or if there should even be a new one. No leadership, no vision, just squabbling suits
As Turkey, the EU, China and Gulf states manoeuvre around a new Syria we get the first hints of what a post-American global order might look like

It's been said many times since 2020, but a realistic zombie movie would have a zombiism virus be fairly easy to counter with basic protective gear but this would be shafted by hoarding, corruption and then people who just don't wanna bc culture wars & they reckon they're special & tough

Last Theorizing Zombiism conference I took a bunch of zombie movement patterns out of movies and tried to connect them to any real-world patterns of motion, using OpenPose. I really like data-led approaches to horror but it's sort of a small niche as far as I can tell :D
