Heute Antikörpergabe und Zometa-Infusion …
Heute anstrengender Tag: Zuerst Zometa-Infusion (ganz allein im Raum), dann Mammographie und Ultraschall. Bis jetzt krebsfrei geblieben. Glückliche Grüße an alle, die mich in der schweren Zeit hier begleitet haben.

Officially 6 months free of chemotherapy. Forever on Keytruda and Zometa, but chemo free. Awaiting surveillance testing I get every six months. Small wins you know?

Made it through another month . Today is my 2nd zometa shot n not looking forward to it but there are others worse off than me so I m thinking of those going through scans; treatments; waiting on reports n stuff . Hugs to you today #cansky#oncsky

Blèh, blèh, blèh… bijwerkingen van Zometa kunnen griepachtige symptomen zijn, en ik heb koorts, koppijn en koud zweet.
Nu maar duimen dat ik me morgen al wat beter voel, dat ik naar mijn afspraak met de plastisch chirurg kan. 🙈

Blèh, blèh, blèh… bijwerkingen van Zometa kunnen griepachtige symptomen zijn, en ik heb koorts, koppijn en koud zweet.
Nu maar duimen dat ik me morgen al wat beter voel, dat ik naar mijn afspraak met de plastisch chirurg kan. 🙈

On day 4 after Keytruda+Zometa which means the flu symptoms have passed the baton to bone pain that's worse at bone met sites.
Imagine a toothache in your hip and ribs. I'm grateful for treatment, but as everything with cancer and Lynch syndrome there are tradeoffs.

Had my second zometa infusion yesterday . They had me for a 15 minute slot but I asked for 30 min this time . Nurse didn’t look happy. I also drank lots the day before n morning of as well as after. I can say I didn’t wake up today with the crazy headache as last time . #cansky#oncsky

Today is my day at the “spa” hope it goes better than last time . Zometa kicked my butt last time along with the fluvestrant which was given too fast . Don’t need that right before Christmas . Hope to get relief from headaches n nausea too. #cansky#oncsky

I see my oncologist in 4️⃣ days for Signatera results, my next Zometa (bone) infusion, & schedule my next PET scan.
I need to raise about $760 by then to stay on track.
My need never really ends. I'm just trying to keep my head above water.

At the clinic since 9:45am for my second try at getting a Zometa infusion in the last two weeks.
No reagents to do my calcium test, so I had to pay to get it done outside the Healthcare system and return today.
Wish me luck that they have Zometa and a doctor who can find a vein easily!

the thing about having cancer, ever having had cancer, is that you never get to be a person who never had cancer. tomorrow I'll go to the infusion center where I got chemo to get a zometa infusion because I'm lucky. (and I am very lucky.) but I am also afraid! because it's not a fun medication.

We zijn Zometa gelijken, duurde bij mij ook een halfuur. Ben nu voor een jaar goed. Geen bijwerkingen gehad.
