All the rain and the 30° drop in temperature is so appreciated. Glad we use wood chips to cover the back yard. No mud! 🐔 feet stay happy and the 🐕 doesn't get forced to clean his paws. 😂 This will work miracles for my 🌰, 🫜, and Chinese celery seeds - just not my joints. #gardensky #RA #Zone7 ♿

Loved visiting Savannah but great to be home. Travel gods looked over us w our 40 minute connection in ATL. Arrived on time A6 then hustled to A27 as zone7 was being called and walked onto plane sat down and it took off on time and landed in MKE 25 minutes early 💪😎

6 weeks left until our last frost date. Fingers crossed we hit it earlier! The NOAA outlook indicates that March is gonna be normal and not warmer than usual, though.

And the best part is that it's cold-hardy in U.S. grow zones down to 3! Unlike its tropical relative with larger, sweeter fruit and fuzzy skin, kiwi berries can be eaten whole🥝 Their exact taste does depend on the variety, but I find them to be a bit more tart

Korean Mint. Pretty, purple, perennial (zone7-10) here but you could gather seeds. helps improve appetite, digestion and nausea, smells like licorice. Its flowers and heart shaped leaves are edible and can be used in stir fry dishes and salads. Not my pic.

Glad I got a bunch of yardwork done yesterday because today is rain mixed with snow WTF! Well it wouldn't be the first time we had snowflakes on the wisteria blossoms and it definitely will melt as soon as it hits but glad I left the lemon and lime trees in the greenhouse. #gardening #zone7

Heading into NYE with some lavender, roses, honeysuckle still against all freaking odds. Pussywillow has buds. I'm afraid all the fruit trees will bud and we'll get a cold snap that kills next year's harvest. #gardening #Zone7

I’ve made a lot of gardening mistakes this spring. I want it too badly. I’ve planted things way too early. I’m wondering if gardeners in 1930’s Germany made the same mistakes. #gardening #zone7

This is an elderberry variety we grew from seed. We call it Honeybee. Super interesting genetics. First and last to flower so hyper indeterminate. Flowers April-Nov in zone7. It enormous (10feet) with giant heads. An excellent ornamental & would produce year round in the right zone. 🌿🌱#permaculture
