gonna be honest as a male victim of with a female perpetrator the "not all men but it's always a man" stuff minimizes my existence and is part of why we don't see this kind of scandal with lefty breadtube creators. like people have been spouting that confirmation bias as long as I've been online.

I have a cynical suspicion that a significant number of politicians and consultants need people to keep thinking Mamdani is a singular miracle so one starts expecting *them* to do anything other than fundraise and run their mouths.
While I enjoy a good “Mamdani as a superhero” TikTok video as much as the next person living in our late capitalist hellscape, I do sometimes wonder if it positions him as a lightning-in-a-bottle miracle rather than what he is, which is a particularly—and replicable—charming sewer socialist.
