Recovery account for @aubergenius because my backup device popped its clogs.

Remy would call Durbin a Dirt Dawg.
Caleb Durbin doesn't know if his left pinkie finger (which sits by default at roughly a 100-degree angle) will require surgery this offseason. All he knows is that it's sufficiently "functional" to let him keep playing now -- even if it may be hindering his power www.bostonglobe.com/2026/09/17/s...
Pinkie injury may be affecting Caleb Durbin, but it’s not keeping him out of Red Sox lineup - The Boston Globe
Durbin dislocated his left pinkie on June 24, then reinjured it on Aug. 6.

One of the best backstops in the history of the game.
Hall of Famer Iván "Pudge" Rodríguez wore the Olde English D from 2004-08.

He holds the MLB record for most games played at the catcher position with 2,427. #HispanicHeritageMonth

Forgot to buy oil yesterday, cost me an additional $.40/gal to do it today.

Woman I spoke with said she is worried about how people will be able to afford it - $6.09/ gal today and rising daily - and whether the company will have adequate supply. That's a risk, too: can't buy what they don't have.

I am now resolved for knee replacement surgery. It's terrifying, ngl. There are things I need to do to prepare - drop some tonnage amongst them - but it is going to happen.

It's been so long since I've walked unimpaired, it's hard to imagine post-op reality. I miss swordfights w/my BFF and dancing.

There is enough hate in the world to despise both the Patriots and the entire NFL. Don't be churlish.
Folks don't hate the NFL enough, tbh
The truth is none of y’all hate Robert Kraft enough. Get on my level. (From February)

There's an English guy who lives his whole life as if it's still the 40s - clothes, car, house fixtures, music, everything - saying it is a comfort to him in coping with the modern world.

The premise seems kinda bats, but am now wondering if he might not have the right idea.

We are never coming back from this, are we?

So much energy expended on point-scoring off of other people, but never any engagement with or demonstration of actual values around the Constitution and Rule of Law.

Christian pols are the worst: they have 0 faith in God and so must do His work for Him.

Nowhere near me serves chicken and waffles. Alas, the jones demanded satisfaction. Compromise: frozen waffles reconstituted in the oven; fried chicken tenders, butter, and maple syrup made into a fair bit of a sammidge.

That'll keep me until I get to Atlanta next.

We sometimes say 'religious' when we mean a specific section of religion: Abrahamic extremism. Fringe believers of the three primary Abrahamic faiths - Judaism, Christianity, and Islam - indict the peaceful believers of each. Few other religions have such issues with extremism. Do Wiccans ban books?
I used to think that religious people were only a threat to themselves, kinda like drug addicts just using a crutch to escape reality but now that they're organized into a hateful political party hell bent on destroying a multicultural America society I see them as a threat hand in hand with fascism
