Gave Paras a happy ending in this regional form :).

#Pokemon #Fakemon #Art #Pixelart #Parasect
A regional Variant of the pokémon Paras. type: Bug Abilities: Shed Skin, Vital Spirit, Tinted Less The main body is identycal in shape to that of regular paras, instead of orange it is bright neon green, with black drip like patterns on its claws, mouth and part of the legs, the tip of its claws are bigger and bright red, same color as the eyes. Instead of having a pair of mushrooms on its back, it now has a pair of tiny bug wings, white with a red trip at the border. dex description: This paras follows a special diet of poisonous roots and detritus, making its blood poisonous to the fungus that would otherwise spread over its shell. It developed a small pair of wings, while unable to fly they aid on its mobility. Sectoplasm, a regional evolution of Paras. Type: Bug/ghost abilities: -Mithridatism (the user is inmune to, and attracts poison attacks) -Vital spirit -Tinted lens The desing is similar to the body of parasect, its shell is bright neon green, with black spots and patterns, and bright red in its abdomen and tip of its claws. Its eyes are similarly bright red, now with expressive black pupils, it now has a wide smile, the inside of its mouth is bright green and has a red tongue. Instead of having a big mushroom like parasect, it has a pair of big elongated wings, theyre white and have red and green patterns at its tips. dex description: The mix of poisons it ingests turns into a mysterious substance with ghostly properties. Sectoplasms take control of huge forest areas. They turn invisible and stalk trasspassers that may mean harm to their habitat.

Giving gholdengo a car!

#Fakemon #pokemon #gholdengo
A mega evolution for gholdengo. type: Steel/ghost ability: good as gold description, gholdengo itself remains similar, the "tubes" on its head now are way longer, and the body of gholdengo now has some extra orange lines all around. Gholdengo now has two gold coins in its eyes ressembling glasses. and wears the chest as a strap around its shoulder, simulating a seat belt. It now drives around in a car, made of gold with a similar texture to gholdengo main body, and orange lines to give it details, most notably, there are two tubes at the back of the car ressembling gholdengo's hair, and the "wheels" are flat as coins dex description: As Gholdengo's power over gold increases, so does its vanity, it creates replicas of luxury items without much care for their practicality. Its favorite creation appears as a car, it posseses unnatural agility and the ability to drive over water.

Sigilyph desserves some more love

#Pokemon #Fakemon #art #Sigilyph
Design for "mega sigilyph" type: psychic/flying Dex description: "When exposed to the energy of mega-evolution. Sigilyph's body seems to emulate that of an old, forgotten deity. The "antenna" over its head constantly analyzes its surroundings, it then quickly eliminates any threats with a powerful gust of wind" Ability: Tinted Lens Design description: The main body of Sigilyph remain the same, the wings have grown in size and and now have the frame of a letter "D" with 4 blue/red/green feathers hanging down from them, and a yellow/blue/red feather at the tip of the wing. the tail now has a clothe hanger like shape, with two blue/red/green feathers in the center and two yellow/blue/red on the extremes. most notable element is the antenna at the top of the head, now being much langer and with a zigzag shape simulating the head of a stork, the "neck" has a blue/yellow/green/red pattern, over the neck theres a single eye, akin to the one in the head of regular sigyliph, and on top of that eye a long vertical structure, with another pattern of blue/yellow/green. the eyes of sigilyph (both the eyes on the body and the one in the antenna) glow with red pupils.

Bnnui, azumarill is awesome and i LOVE how this mega came out!

#Pokemon #Fakemon #Azumarill #bunny
a mega evolution for Azumarill type: water-fairy ability: Huge Power Design description: azumarill's body remains more or less the same, its feet and arms are slightly longer, the ears are bigger, the pattern on its body is slightly different and includes white lines on arms, legs and ears (notably, the ears have different striped patterns), it also has a blue spot over its eye simulating a black eye, and it now has a floating device-like belt structure on its waist, colored blue and red. most notably, the ball on its tail grows to enormous size, and so does the zigzag pattern connecting it to the body. The ball is decorated with a white pattern with blue spots, simulating the look of the moon, and azumarill carries said ball over its shoulder. Dex description: 'As its tail becomes much larger and heavier, Azumarill's might also increases to be able to lift it effortlessly. Since this newfound power can be too much for its body, it develops a belt-like structure around its waist that helps contain it.'

Mega Shedinja! took some time to come up with an acceptable ability for this thing, but im very happy with the result so it was worth it!

#Fakemon #Pokemon #Shedinja #Bug
A mega evolution for Shedinja Type: Bug-Ghost Ability: 'Guardian Angel' (the user is inmune to all sources of damage for the first 4 turns in battle) Design Description: The pokemon is now composed of three shedinjas, two on the side embrace the center one, with their now longer wings interwining on the front, the center one is bigger and has two pairs of bigger wings on its back. All three have their eyes closed and the space in the center of their bodies is pure dark. The halo over their heads is now composed of 3 connected halos. Dex: 'After being exposed to the energy of mega-evolution, the multiple soulds inhabiting Shedinja's body awaken and combine their forces to protect it from any harm. However, this rapidly depletes their energy, eventually rendering them powerless.

Mega Ninjask! Ninjask is like, top 3 coolest bug pokemon and it desserves a sick mega.

#fakemon #pokemon #shedinja #art
Art of a possible "mega Ninjask" bug-flying type ability: "Shell Out" (The user gets a substitute upon receiving this ability, once per match) Similar in shpes to regular ninjask, but it inner shell becomes white and the gold elements become less saturated, it develops a long pair of red raptorials on its arms, the wings grow and gain green details, and the head now has an "arch" reminiscent of shedinja's halo. "Dex" description: "Ninjask breaks free from its shell upon mega-evolving, this makes it considerably faster while its chitin towards sharpening its claws and wings. As this makes its body way frailer, it protects itself using the discarded shell."

Vaporeon that looks at gay people
A digital illustration using all the colors of the rainbow. It features a rainbow Vaporeon drawn in a top-down perspective. It is looking upwards towards the viewer through some bubbles. A rainbow bubble floats over its left eye, distorting it and making it adorably wobbly. Many such colorful bubbles float upwards. Inspired by Lisa Frank artworks and that one artwork of super squeaky dolphins jumping over super sparkly water with a rainbow in the background.

I guess young people either forgot or don’t actually know what the word “indie” is short for? An independent company means operating separately from larger corporations, not “providing content for free always”. Adult artists need money to live and create more art, imagine that

Gonna start posting some mega designs that ive been making, starting with alolan dugtrio! had a lot of fun with this one.

#Pokemon #Fakemon #Megaevolution #Dugtrio
A mega evolution for Alolan Dugtrio, the "hair" of dugtrio becomes colorful and glows, only two of the heads grow significantly while also gaining new haircuts, way longer and more wild. all three heads gain tattoo like markings on one of their eyes with the same color as the hair (notably, the smallest hair has a tear like marking). image text description: "The magnificent hair of dugtrio has become hard as diamond, and its shinyness mesmerizes all who gaze it. As two of the heads grow both in size and courage, they bravely charge forward to battle, ignoring the demands of the smallest one"

people "have money", in that they have income. but the number of people seriously burdened by their rent is the highest it's ever been. the cost of living is so much worse than it was a decade or two ago. I know multiple people making the most money they've ever made who are barely hanging on.
peark.es George Pearkes @peark.es · Apr 11
This is a rehash of the vibecession debates but median household income adjusted for inflation hit a record in 2024 (2025 data will be released in September). It’s just *not true* in any objective sense that people don’t have money anymore. It may *feel* that way but that’s different from reality.
katelynburns.com Katelyn Burns @katelynburns.com · Apr 11
My take is that people don't have money anymore. Jobs that used to make decent money no longer do so. Healthcare and rent are unaffordable.

Everything costs way too much.
