The messages in which officers Daniel Valencia and Matthew Stewart strategized their reports were part of a longer string of texts that started one hour and 14 minutes after they’d killed Joshua Musselman from more than 100 feet away as he was fleeing into his apartment.
‘I’m hoping we hit him at least once each lol’: SPD texts from 2024 killing show lack of probable cause
In messages, SPD officers hoped they inflicted maximum damage when they shot Joshua Musselman, mocked the police chief’s response to the killing.

'Ready to Blow His Stack': How Biden's Advisor Tries To Polish His Image By Lying
The day that Biden grew so angry at Netanyahu that he nearly cut him off: "He was just completely fed up with everything and I think at that moment he was ready to just say, 'I’m done,'" Brett McGurk recalls as he releases "Brink," his memoir of Gaza war. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/01/u...

Pretty clear to me there’s a very good case against this man for mass murder, and I’m saying that in as measured a fashion as I can. He’s order the killing of 234 people under no plausible war or legal justification. I am skeptical he will ever face legal accountability for til his but he should.

there are moral arguments against the death penalty in its ideal form but in real life you never need to get there. the prior question is "can the state be trusted to end the life only of the rightly convicted without torture?" and the answer is no

If rapists actually faced consequences for their actions we wouldn’t have nearly as many rapists. In reality many rapists actually benefit from their actions

A truly heinous man has doxxed the Cornell victim on X and the comments are predictably vile. Based on countless interviews I’ve done with survivors, the trauma they are subjected to for coming forward is oftentimes even worse than the initial trauma they experienced. There is no real justice system

I know I’ll regret this, but how is Smith alleged to have perjured himself before?
I know this will shock everyone but Eric Schmitt is still wrong — there were *six* NBA games that night, not one.

Hawks/Hawkeyes confusion remains the likely explanation.

Updated information shows PPB killed the man and the dog. Absolutely shameful how some media talked about this man’s life like it was an afterthought, and unquestioningly put out copaganda.
This is one of the most insane news segments I’ve ever seen.

Hey this incredible hero dog died this is terrible day for the police — we’re not going to tell you who shot the dog — also a human was shot and killed but we’re not saying by who but the police say he’s violent.

On the *same day* the Cornell Seven drugged and raped Jane Doe, Cornell banned four students (including the President of Cornell JVP) from campus for three years for nonviolent, pro-Palestine protests. The same Cornell officials let the rapists off with apology essays.

Part of being socially stunted now is that I no longer care. The Splut is no longer a vengeful pie. It is cum. The Splut is cum.

Whenever you see a pollster or consultant give a take like this, it’s always worth following the money. In this case, Emanuel has paid Anzalone’s firm nearly $300k (maybe more but that’s what I found so far).

Whatever the merits of the song (I listened when it was first breaking out, and it went right through me), I find it hard to believe that Rolling Stone magazine is unaware that the charts ain’t what they used to be in terms of cultural salience.

July 2023, it was right in time for the poster’s strike and the racist username debacle.

It was deffo full of highly sexualized content, which as a vanilla I’d rather not have seen, but I did have some nice chats with people I otherwise wouldn’t have.

Mostly I remember there not being very much.

I fully understand why Key and Peele would outrank Chapelle’s Show in 2026; but, Louie outranking Chapelle is sus as shit, man.
