We are a coalition organizing for the responsible and equitable implementation of the #CHIPSAct, uniting communities with new and expanding #semiconductor facilities.
#Intel promised to create 10K jobs in return for #CHIPSAct funding. Instead, they've laid off almost 9K workers, including over 4.4K workers in #Oregon, with more #layoffs expected. Like this letter says: "Rebounding Intel should rehire workers."

Readers respond: Rebounding Intel should rehire workers
Intel received around $11 billion from the U.S.government, plus millions more from taxpayers in Oregon, so we have theright to expect the company to be a good neighbor and employer.
