The US has deployed its first publicly acknowledged space-based weapon, Air Force Secretary Troy Meink said.

Meink said the weapon is already “on orbit” and is intended for “space control” and to defend US forces against “hostile adversary action.”

This is the answer to firming, not LPG terminals. Spend the money on solar and batteries for every house and we won't need LPG.

Of course, that won't prop up shareholder value so we won't do it.
Within two years, Australia has managed to drastically reduce its use of fossil fuels because #batteries supply the electricity at peak times. We need much more #energystorage for the energy transition! #ActOnClimate #ClimateActionNow

Dolly Parton defending the LGBTQ+ community from attacks 10 years ago:

I do not believe that we should judge other people. We’re all God’s children. We should be more loving, more caring. If you’re gay, you’re gay. If you’re straight, you’re straight and you should be allowed to be who you are.

This is applicable in New Zealand also!! 🛤️🚆
Saw something earlier about how domestic flight prices keep increasing to the point that you might as well travel to Japan because it would be cheaper. Thing is, if we had a national high-speed rail network, a lot of regional flights could be train journeys, but, you know… we couldn’t possibly.
