So this was the most horrifying and nauseating thing I’ve read in ages. Democratic woman running for Congress stalked and raped in Arizona. Major trigger warnings about the details in the article.

To put this in perspective chestnut trees used to be dominant species in the United States. Billions of trees were killed by fungal blight and now fully grown America chestnuts are functionally extinct. There is no getting them back. Ever. All for a data center.

Mango Mussolini taunting a country he's currently bombing to go ahead and destroy the two largest cities in California -- San Diego is a huge military city, so apparently besides millions of civilians, he wants U.S. soldiers to die?

Luckily Iran has much saner political leaders than the U.S.
Trump calls Natalie on stage, checks out her legs, calls her "perfect," then floats creating a reality show w/ her -- & other lowlights from his rally tonight in Nebraska

(Including Trump saying of Iran, "Let them take out Los Angeles, let them take out San Diego. This is very small price to pay")

I got back home a bit ago from Tennessee's execution of Christa Pike. We sat in the witness room for nearly 2 and a half hours as she received two rounds of pentobarbital. She was taken away in an ambulance shortly after that and I can't say for sure if she is dead or alive at this moment.

To bottom line this for you, the Supreme Court has allowed Trump to deport people without giving them a hearing, and said "we will consider next year whether this violated the laws against torture". They think it's worse to make Trump wait than risk him torturing people.

These are all words in the English language, my native tongue, but I have no fucking idea what any of this means, but since it involves AI, I can presume it’s not good.
We see your Western Massachusetts lesbian KN-95 bar story. We raise you "bookseller tries to figure out if the company that posts close-ups of trout eggs that's trying to buy his entire inventory is actually AI scheming to slice up rare books to scan them" story.

One of the really cool things about this case is that one of the lead plaintiffs is Lioness - a nonprofit run by women who did time in sweltering Texas prisons themselves.

Then they got out and spearheaded this lawsuit that could drastically improve life for all their sisters still inside.
A federal judge has ordered Texas to air condition all of the state’s prisons by the end of 2029

High temperatures violate the Constitution’s protection against cruel and unusual punishment, the judge ruled.
