Me: The new agent harness is great. You feed your tokens into the machine. Then you run simulations which, if successful, produces tickets. If they fail you have to buy more tokens and keep running the sims. Once you have enough tickets you can redeem them

Does AI add a fourth letter to the classic ‘three letters’ story?
Interesting trend:

CTO/ Head of Eng / VPE folks at startups and mid-sized companies are... leaving / burning out. Hiring for these roles is HARD, but even after filling the role, they will often leave a few months later and take a career break

There is a lot to say about the Nolan Odyssey movie. But one point that I think has not been emphasized enough is: this is a film about living in LA, as Nolan, my erstwhile British compatriot and age mate, has done for years. I gather it’s a strange place.

Tuesday, I went to see Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass. This was a hilarious comedy, somewhat like the old star-studded comedies that they used to make in the 70s where celebrities would play exaggerated versions of themselves and a hilarious romp ensues.

I watched disclosure day last week, good movie although like many of Spielberg's movies it now seems somewhat over-earnest and cheezy in bits. Would recommend.

Unusually strong headline work from the Washington Post
A high-ranking FEMA official who sparked controversy for claiming that millions had voted illegally in the 2016 election and that he once teleported to a Waffle House has gone on leave, officials said.

“Teleporting is no fun,” he said. “It was real.” https://wapo.st/3QnPZQD
