My sincere view is that the "clever center right" were just fascism/racism-tolerators in service of highly nuanced views about economics and/or personal liberty that are in a sort of late-Reign-of-Terror theoretical collateral damage cohort for when we eat the rich (impose wealth/power safeguards)
i can understand, to an extent, missing a "clever centre right", but that is gone

At some point we need to talk about tech companies accurately: As society-destroying polluters, purveyors of broken and unsafe products, bad actors in the market. Too many people have been giggling and saying "oh golly, those silly little nerds" - they are creeps, cretins, predators. End them.
