Facebook directly enabled the Rohingya genocide. Every executive involved in running the company today chose to work at a company that directly enabled those deaths. Compared to that, it is _nothing_ for their products to cause your children harm. Billions for a settlement is a pittance.

We learnt this week that functionally illiterate American workers earn as much as the average Brit.
There is not much schools can do about this.
We need other parts of govt to take responsibility.

It's been sad watching this play out on our patch this week. What's been noticeable on local Facebook groups though has been how quiet all the local Reform voting racists have been. They're normally all over every post about bbqs etc at Dovestones with comments about "large families" "from Oldham"
