Well said Andrew Neil.
This was so sad. Start to finish.
Not often do I retweet Andrew Neil approvingly - but Jason Arday was a mutable, imperfect, and ultimately fragile human being.

We can all change. We can all atone and improve. Until we can't - with the great big full stop of death

My first ever comment on Jason Arday: RIP

Sarah clutched Lee’s bacon sodden stomach & whispered sweet nothings in his crusty ears.
As he broke wind Lee felt a stirring. His manhood rose. The smell of onion & lard enveloped them both.
‘Take me’ Sarah huskily groaned as Lee belched. Like a fried egg she moistened rapidly…

People of Clacton! Show your support for me by putting a bin outside your house, one day this week, of a colour of Tendring Council's choice. This will be unequivocal proof of the success of my campaign.

😂 an excellent description!
Chris Philp is the political equivalent of a stain on your carpet. Don't know how it got there; can't get rid of it; mostly forget about but when you notice it you get irritated all over again.

Quite amazing! As an aging rocker myself I’m extremely inspired by Sir Mick and Keef!
Sir Mick Jagger, my pretend high school boyfriend, turned 83 yesterday🥳🥳🥳

Saw them (this line up) quite a few times! Energy was electric!!! Superb live band!
Always loved this Dr. Feelgood line-up. Two plain-clothes coppers (bass and drums) and two absolute psychos (guitar, vox) out on parole.
Remembering Wilko Johnson on his birthday. Here are Dr Feelgood performing Roxette on the OGWT in 1975

Beautiful inside and out.

The repeated attempts to demean Michelle Obama say nothing about her and everything about the people making those comments.

A) This a properly brilliant piece of investigative journalism by BBC & @hopenot.bsky.social Huge kudos to all involved for doing the job the UK police & CPS failed to do: naming the alleged spymaster & clearly showing Kremlin’s role.

Stark, sad but true
The FBI guy is on a paranoid bender and won’t leave his room.

The War guy quotes bible passages from Pulp Fiction.

The Health guy collects raccoon dicks.

It’s an Idiocracy on steroids.

Nicely put 😂
You're a foreign official campaigning in a foreign election for one preferred side, JD. Think about it. Take all the time you need.

Brutal 😂
Nick Timothy is an uncannily perfect encapsulation of the crapification of public life in the UK: a bigoted failure blithely oozing from one disaster to the next while being rewarded at every turn by the far right media/political ecosystem. A golf club boor with the intellect of a burst balloon.

Great band and really important in history of music in Uk. Still so original

Philp all over the place on Lewis Goodall’s LBC show today. What a confused mess! Lewis toying with him. Must be loving it! 👏👏👏

Wow. What an utter bell-end! Carry on this way please Nige….
Nigel Farage heckled at a press conference. He responds: "Oh sorry darling are you having a rough morning? Did you get out on the wrong side of bed? You always get the odd screamer at these events. Go back to work. I did say go back to work, but of course she hasn't got a job has she"

Well said 👏👏👏
No, Shabana Mahmood, people seeing failing state support and crumbing infrastructure don't have either legitimate concerns or a legitimate grievance against immigrants, refugees or asylum seekers.

They have a legitimate grievance against governments.

Interesting 🧐
Five corporations control 90% of the US media market.

Airlines merged from 12 major carriers in 1980 to 4 today.

Four giants control 80% of meat processing.

The evidence of corporate consolidation is everywhere.

It means more power for them and less freedom for you.

This is how you do it! Reform including Farage are all mouth and moan. None if it is backed up, none of it is serious, apart from the intentional division

A lovely analogy! 😂
Something magnificent about Kemi Badenoch's self-confidence, and her claim that the Mandelson affair is entirely down to her asking questions at PMQs. Like a toddler who thinks their plastic steering wheel is controlling the car.

Letter to the FT that stingingly sums up Brexit and the shit creek we now find ourselves in.
A terrible idea (naive, prejudiced and uninformed) that has deeply divided us and left us poorer and less secure… but unwilling to face up to the damage we’ve done to ourselves. While the EU moves on.

Donald Trump destroyed public service broadcasting in the US - it's little surprise Nigel Farage wants to do the same thing here.
