this is probably the worst language i've seen a democrat use. saying "transgender ideology" is straight out of the right wing playbook. this is looking more and more like Labour, so I don't want to hear any more shit about how even the transphobic democrats broadly support our rights.
Holy shit.

Marcy Kaptur becomes the latest Dem to release an anti-trans ad, and its worse than all the rest combined.

"I voted WITH Republicans to keep transgender ideology out of schools, and let me be clear, boys should NOT play in girls sports."

This is getting out of control.

This article is total bull****. At full output Jackdaw could meet 1.6% of the UK’s winter gas demand.

What is true is that Shell and Equinor have put over £1 billion into building Jackdaw and are now desperate for the government to license the 24 million tonnes of CO₂ it would release
Jackdaw boss warns of winter fuel shortages if gas field not approved
Adura says the UK government must approve North Sea production urgently to avoid domestic supply shortages.

I genuinely feel like one of the reasons they're losing it over Binface is more than anything, most of the rightysphere in UK media wants to be high-status, and being mocked by count binface running against Farage is a sign that no one actually likes Farage (or by extension, them)
So they're all taking this really well

British drama school training is the envy of the world and, as more film + TV jobs are moving to the UK, our drama schools are the backbone of a global industry. These cuts are artistic vandalism and economic stupidity.

i really don't like this framing where trans people being rightly upset about a 9-0 scotus decision against trans rights is resulting in yet more will stancilesque lecturing about how scotus rules are complicated and progress takes time sweeties and also trans people are always overreacting anyways

It seems to have become commonplace to blame net zero for Britain’s high energy bills and/or weak job market…
… and I guess I’ll have to explain again why there is very little evidence of this.

Britain has plenty of economic problems; net zero is not high on that list (though climate change is)

Update: Young people & families today received shocking & transphobic letters from NHS.

These letters tell people that endocrine care (blockers / HRT) is being fully withdrawn in 7 weeks time (July 31st).

Forced medical detransition.

This country is a danger to trans children & young people.
Trans adolescents accessing the only NHS route to healthcare (WellBN) have been through a stressful year long transphobic investigation.

For a year they have sat under the threat of forced medical detransition.

With significant negative impacts. 1/2

If 200 volunteers don't come forward, compulsory redundancies will follow
