'Patient' at least implies a relationship in which there should be a duty of care.

Slightly horrified to see the select committee has sought to expunge the word 'patient' from the Mental Health Bill, replacing it with various other terms including 'consumer'.

I understand why people want to challenge things that seem paternalistic, but this seems misguided.

National MPs, with their six figure salaries, who claim accommodation supplements that are more than some state housing occupants earn in a year, stripping away accomm support for state housing tenants is some next level hypocritical cruelty.

It does not show any mortgage debts owed. The amount Upston claimed last year was $52,000, on top of her $320,600 ministerial salary.
