I know little about this but surely deciding to go play in the AFL is an individual player decision and no business of the GAA? They don't own the players. This makes it sound like what the GAA are really looking for is soccer style transfer fees for players.

The €1bn spent on fossil fuel sinces April would have put 8kw battery & solar on 100,000 homes buying them energy freedom for 20+ years.

Talking about food waste when over 80% of meals are eaten is baffling, and almost 90% if you take out absences. This is a stellar rate, they should be boasting about it not calling it a shortcoming. Since when do kids eat everything they are given?

Online advertising is so completely broken. Bought a pair of shoes, from an Irish site. I am now followed by ads everywhere for those *identical* shoes, some from the same store. Shoes I already own, new. Whoever pays for such ads is robbed. I'm put off the seller. Someone gets richer.
