Take this as your sign if you’ve been considering it. You don’t have to wait until something bad happens & FORCES you to quit. You can just decide to do it. This is mostly for my other middle aged homies that are tired of hangovers. It’s not hard if you dont have an addiction, but it’s worth it.
Turns out you *can* reinvent yourself. Today I am 1 year sober from alcohol. I have never felt better. Thank you to all of my friends and family for the support this past year - I am beyond grateful. 🥹

I’ve always found it deeply troubling how eager human beings are to tear strangers apart based on ill-informed judgments. I only hope this will get a fraction of the attention the original video did.

Another reminder: if there exists *any* class of people who don't have due process rights, then *nobody* actually has due process rights because the government can always just say you're in that class.
A US-born woman born was confronted by sheriff deputies in Louisiana who were convinced her ID and social security card were fakes. They turned her over to ICE, who shackled her & took her an hour away. Even after a lawyer convinced ICE of the woman's citizenship the sheriff says they did no wrong

Mackenzie and Bethan knew they would get married someday. When her mother gets a terrible diagnosis just as his sister is about to ship out, plans get moved up. But the only venue they can find is a theater and the only dress has an ill-fated name, so doubts mount as to this wedding happening.
