I know the Dept, however, didn't like having the public and reporters in the room - it was too easy for us to have sidebar conversations with NACIQI members, which was discouraged by the department....
Can't believe I'm saying this, but I kind of miss the days when NACIQI was completely in-person...

1/ It's a NACIQI day and it may be one for the books. The first agency up for review is the Accreditation Council of the American Bar Association -- a favorite target of conservatives and called out by President Trump in his 2025 Executive Order on Accrediation.
