Etihad Airlines, owned by Abu Dhabi, want you to know they invested all their own money in Manchester City, despite their first investment being 45 times their profits at the time

Abu Dhabi want you all to know that they absolutely don't own Manchester City but if Manchester City are sanctioned for their industrial scale cheating, then the UAE could pull all investment from Britain.

I'd forgotten what it feels like to watch a good formula 1 race. That was epic.

Genuinely unable to pick up John Mackenzies Pep book and finish it now.

It's a good book. But it just feels dirty.

Probably just coincidence Pep & his Barca exec team moved to City & started paying refs huge sums to ref in AD & then benefitted from some outrageously ridiculous decisions…
"The case concerns allegations of €8.4m (£7.2m) being paid by Barcelona to José María Enríquez Negreira, the former vicepresident of Spain’s referees’ committee, between 2001 and 2018. Guardiola was Barcelona’s manager between 2008 and 2012."

Maybe the regulator should be considering whether someone with diplomatic immunity, from prosecution or even criminal investigation, is a fit and proper person to run a football club.

In 2022, when Seb Vettel was racing for Aston Martin’s #F1 team & I was its PR chief, I arranged for him to appear on the BBC’s #QuestionTime (pic). Suella Braverman was a fellow panellist. I spoke to her then & I thought her remarkably stupid. On last night’s show I thought her appallingly racist.

Not proud of it, but I once got creative and registered a team of 20-year-olds in a U10s tournament. Other coaches kept saying things like "you can't use them" and "they have beards" and "I think that's Myles Lewis-Skelly." But whatever happened behind the scenes, the game is won on the pitch.

So after years of insisting to the point of demanding corrections of anyone saying Manchester City is owned by the UAE and not a private investment of “his highness” sheikh Mansour, City will now insist in its appeal that City is actually owned by the UAE. Riiiggghhht then. 🥸

This is just further proof of the bent nature of the sponsorships. No regular sponsor would threaten to sue the Prem for the reputational damage of a report they arent even named in. They would just cut ties with the club

In the last 5 months:
- Arsenal won the league
- Pep left
- Rodri left
- Bernardo left
- City were found guilty on all charges and called out by the news outlets as the biggest cheats in football history.

It's going ok.
