My parents recently got solar panels installed on their roof, and I am now addicted to checking the app to see what the house draws in versus what the solar panels absorb.

Shocking news here, I'm sure, but it turns out solar is a really good source of energy.

July was the driest in the UK ever, there has been no significant rain since and farmers now expect their worst harvest on record. It will surely only get worse in the coming years and yet we're still hearing more about bus fares and 'vertical drinking' than the climate
