Your Cherokee words for today.
The top word is English followed by how it is written in the Cherokee language followed by how it is spelled in English then how to pronounce it phonetically.

Our feature tutorial/artist for today is this simple yet GROUND-BREAKING idea by the brilliant @sputnik2nd! Sometimes the KEY FORMS of ANATOMY can ELUDE us at CERTAIN ANGLES, and this is a great reminder that it's all just STACKING SHAPES! #manga #characterdesign #illustration

This is your occasional reminder that generative "AI" in particular could have been developed on public domain materials and/or licensed and compensated works but the major players intentionally, methodically and systemically chose to steal labor from working creative folks instead

I've been waiting 4 months to get into an OBGYN appointment and they just called to reschedule and push it out again because she won't be in that day. They blather on about wait times in Europe and Canada, but we not only get to wait just as long, we get to pay 4,000x more for it.

There's no such thing as enough cats but there can be too many cats. The only way to see that line is after you've already crossed it.

Love this analogy so much. Right up there with "the Internet is a series of lead tubes."

Just a reminder that people don’t always realize they were raped in the immediate aftermath. It can take hours, days, months, and even years to realize you were raped, and it doesn’t make it any less true. There are many kinds of responses, including fawning and trying to appease your rapist

Beaked sauropods?

A new study suggests that sauropods had beaks or at least some kind of beak like structure.

Now this isn’t a totally new idea.

This new study looks at the skull of Camarasaurus and other sauropods.

Camarasaurus specifically is a focus because of its teeth.
