Sometimes around the late Ming, a conviction arises that the Horse King is *Muslim* - and therefore you sacrifice lamb, not pork, to him.

One thing I think about is how GOP/Heritage will work tirelessly to make their actually unpopular positions into law eg abortion or turn it into a popular one eg bathroom bans.
Like, we‘ve lost the art of believing in an agenda, not just winning for the sake therof.

I think the idea that you can never criticize voters, ever, is wrong and frankly harmful in a number of ways, but like you say here: Donald Trump LOVES negging his voters and is the 2nd biggest receiver of raw votes in an election in American history.

Weirdly this fainting-couch shit only comes out to discipline dissent from a candidate moving right. There was objectively very little (if any) outrage to prominent donors, officials, and commentators threatening to vote Republican in Michigan over Hasan and El-Sayed’s refusal to worship Israel.

When the right began the trans stuff with the bathroom bill in NC, a swing state, even corpos and centrists fought back and the bill fizzled out.
No pol who supported trans rights was hurt—Rs were humiliated.
But Rs kept fighting and over time, centrists... seemed to forget the crusade was beatable.
