We've not heard a word from PM Burnham yet about making votes matter.

He can't squander this chance to fix our democracy, stop more than half of votes being wasted, and reach for better solutions for the problems we're all facing from the cost of living to the climate crisis.

Clock's ticking ⏰️

I believe this is also the first ever Lib Dem gain from the Greens in inner London.

Congratulations to Alex Davies, our fantastic candidate and to the brilliant Lambeth & London Lib Dem teams!

The Lib Dems have been clear that Thames Water does not have a future.

The rescue deal should be rejected, and the company should be rebuilt as a company for public benefit.

Thames Water must work in the public interest and stop charging exorbitant fees for a terrible service.

Why should any Lib Dem or Green voter in Makerfield vote tactically for Burnham if all he offers is:
🗳️ No PR
🇪🇺 No change on Brexit
💸 The same broken fiscal rules
🥀 Blue Labour anti-immigration policies

*Brace for Labour Gaslighting*

To beat Reform, Labour needs to break with Reform-lite policies.

I was delighted to speak in the King’s speech debate last night on housing, transport and health. Residents, passengers and patients must be at the heart of new legislation and we will table amendments where needed to ensure their voices are heard.

Absolutely colossal night of success for the Lib Dems.

In the 10 byelections, the LDs have gained from the CONs, GRNs, INDs and LAB, with a narrow loss to REF by 31 votes in Babergh.

Scoreboard: LD 7, REF 1, CON 1, IND 1.

I assume the media will cover this as breathlessly as every opinion poll?
