I had a man wolf-whistle at me as I walked into the gas station.

He did it twice to make sure I heard him.

Haven’t been catcalled since I worked in the prison.

This picture will always be iconic. RIP Margaret Hamilton who wrote the software that successfully guided NASA’s Apollo missions through the moon.

Except, as the study says, wealthier countries have lower rates of Toxoplasma gondii in humans because the cats are fed controlled diets and not allowed to roam*.

*(Except in the FUCKING UK.)
Companion animals like cats and dogs are generally a positive for well-being.

But with cats, there is a downside — they carry the parasite Toxoplasma gondii, which can infect humans. It’s been linked to road rage, depression and other mood changes.
Countries with more cats are happier, study finds. But there’s a catch.
A new study looks at the factors that contribute to a country’s well-being, including our feline companions.

Ugh.

Fucked up an interaction today and now drama and it needed to happen but fuck. Anyway everything will be just fine I’m actually not panicking.

I get how I messed up but also, dang, what a thing to raise heck about.

Dear Texas:

You're not the only place with breakfast burritos/tacos.

They've been on the McDonald's menu since the 90s.

I can get them at most gas stations.

This is your occasional reminder that generative "AI" in particular could have been developed on public domain materials and/or licensed and compensated works but the major players intentionally, methodically and systemically chose to steal labor from working creative folks instead

I chose not to have a baby because the idea of something inside me made me super uncomfortable.

People have told me I’m weird for looking at it that way. (My mom told me how I clawed the inside of her uterus.)

But the AutismInWomen subreddit is full of women struggling with motherhood.
