As we end the NavRatri (Nine Nights of the Goddess), here's 'some' of my favourite forms of her

Ādyā: carries an entire universe in her fingernails

Ambikā: takes drinking breaks in the midst of a raging battle

Kushmāndā: settles in the sun's core to save it from extinction!

- Fireborne (& its sequels) by Rosaria Munda
- The Surviving Sky by Kritika Rao
- Literally anything by Marie Lu and Holly Black
- The City in Glass by Nghi Vo
- Trail of Lightning by Rebecca Roanhorse

It's an endless list for me tbh

My 🌈pride month🌈 resolution is to write bi protags in m/f relationships without having their bi status being questioned because of it 🩷💜💙

#WritingCommunity propaganda I won't fall for

We must ALWAYS show-not-tell in novels (aren't we storyTELLERS🤷‍♀️)

There's enough South Asian rep in publishing (no, there isn't, especially from people living there)

There are RULES for 1st & 3rd person pov usage (like wha🙃)

Hello friends, I've been hit with an emergency bill, so I'm opening up a few slots for editorial services. I'll cover the details in thread but would appreciate any shares. I'm a Tessera Editorial alum, have several short fiction credits, and have helped several writers with their query materials.

So what if I had the same set in paperback!
