Thank you, Brad ❤️
You’ve been my favourite curler for more than 20 years and I’ve grown up with you
I’ll miss seeing you on the ice
Congratulations on your retirement 🥌
An absolute legend! 🇨🇦

Brad Gushue gets a warm ovation as he played his last game at a Brier concluding an incredible career 🙌

It’s crazy that it took til 2026 for this to happen. As a POC who curls at the rec level, it’s insane how non diverse it is at the pro level
Jayden King set to make history as first Black skip in Brier history.

where was this rule when I was in grad school????
If you took the last gloves and didn't replace the box, you owe your lab snacks. Sorry, we don't make the rules. 🤷

I really don’t want this to be Brock Boeser’s last game as a Canuck, but we all know it is 😭

Thank you for such an entertaining talk and summary of your trip, @jmcelroy.bsky.social! Didn’t think to ask during the Q&A, but did you visit any curling clubs on your trip?
Programming note: after a year travelling the world, I return home to Vancouver on March 11.

And on March 12, I’ll be doing TWO LIVE SHOWS at the Wise Hall in East Vancouver.

I’ll show photos and charts, answer your questions, and if you’ve enjoyed following my trip I hope you’re able to come.

All curlers stopping their games to applaud Kerry Galusha after her last game at the Scotties - so classy and another reason I love this game and its athletes so much #stoh2025

Victoria Curling Club’s very own Team de Jong was in the house today.

We will be cheering them on next week in Kelowna as they represent team BC at the Brier.

In this world, be like Sheryl Crow and just say no to swasticars
Sheryl Crow:

“My parents always said you are who you hang out with.
There comes a time when you have to decide who you are willing to align with. So long Tesla.
Money donated to NPR, which is under threat by President Musk, in hopes the truth will…find its way to those willing to know [it].”
