Great thread with a detailed but legible summary of the study and its results.
WELL NOW, would you look at that?

A massive, 4-YEAR-LONG study of NEARLY 30 MILLION people in France found that individuals who received a COVID-19 mRNA vaccine had a 74% LOWER risk of death from severe COVID-19 compared to unvaccinated individuals and ZERO increased risk of all-cause mortality.

I’ve been a media witness to two federal executions. One was Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh. The other, a week later, was a drug kingpin named Juan Raul Garza.

My conclusion after watching both men die: The death penalty should not exist. Period. It fixes nothing, and it erodes our souls.

I'm not a football fan or anything, but grew up with one as my primary caregiver... And she constantly had ethical dilemmas about the sport, especially the way college athletes are treated.

Can Orange County* please elect this guy who actually has the experience to fix it?
Let me give you the actual solution to this problem.

Universities and colleges have to hire football players as union employees (AFL-CIO, same as the NFL), with no requirement to attend school. They get health and retirement benefits, and are limited to a five year employment contract.
Senate passes sweeping bipartisan bill to regulate payments to college athletes and limit transfers

He was "worried about constraints on the governor's power to approve extraditions".

Just learned of the deadly crash where a speeding SUV T-boned a Metro bus, killing 3 and injuring several others at Nordhoff and DeSoto (line 166 eastbound).

If you think "wow, buses are dangerous!" consider that if this collision had been with a car, it probably would have gone flying into a bldg.

Fielding questions re: this article w/bizarre factual errors. First, there's no "Montecito County" in CA. Second, 2 fires are actually in *Monterey,* & 3rd in *Mendocino*. Third, 60k ac have *not* burned in either fictional Montecito nor real Mendocino.🤨
Three Montecito County fires near Big Sur have burned nearly 60,000 acres
In Mendocino County, the total area burned by three fires grew to nearly 60,000 acres on Saturday.
