The work will always matter, especially now when the risk of doing nothing is palpably real.
Occasional reminder that there’s no, “it’s too late, its over” for anthropogenic climate change. Every molecule of CO2 that doesn’t go into the atmosphere makes a difference. Preventing 0.1 degree of warming makes a difference. Every bit of climate resilience we build together makes a difference.

The U.S. has withdrawn its last troops from Iraq, 23 years after a Republican president launched a war of choice based on lies that cost trillions of dollars, killed hundreds of thousands of people, and unleashed regional chaos.

History doesn't repeat, but it often rhymes.

‼️ Today, the Senate unveiled a permitting reform bill that would make it easier for fossil fuel + tech companies to steamroll community opposition to their polluting, climate-wrecking projects.

This bill would benefit Big Tech and Big Oil, not working families.

This is a human rights abuse worthy of prosecution under intentional law. Minimally, they should be impeached and removed for this alone.
BREAKING: SCOTUS allows the Trump admin to restart third-country removals under a policy found by lower courts to violate federal law. The Democratic appointees dissent.

The deportations will be OK'ed at least through the next several months, with SCOTUS agreeing to hear the case in December.

Is it wrong to state the obvious? Trump wants to destroy the Kennedy Center because he hates the idea of quality arts, culture, and good taste. Not only is he a monumental crook, he has abysmal taste. Look how he decorated the oval office. Trump is a piece of tasteless, criminal junk.

I'm not a religious person, but if there were such a thing as the Antichrist, he would do what Trump does every day. Destroying our beautiful planet and the lives of its people for the sake of
A. profit and
B. a vengeful urge to destroy what other people love.
So yes, demonic is the right word.
“If the move survives expected legal challenges, it could also prevent future administrations from regulating greenhouse gas emissions from power plants.”

Absolutely fucking demonic.

Thank you! At an event last night I said "If the word hope doesn't work for you try, 'Never fucking surrender.'" The word hope seems too sunny to a lot of people, but the heart of it as I'm interested in it is: we make the future in the present, if we show up, and that never surrender part.

Ossoff: "The president, surrounded by enablers in the West Wing, is playing golf, trading stock, & decorating his ballroom. It is a disgrace. All while American families in Georgia and across the country pay more for just about everything as a direct result of his failed economic and foreign policy"
