Honestly the reaction to Burnham's 'vibes' really sticks in the craw when he's clearly made a strategic decision that the winning strategy on trans people is to never talk about it and hope it all goes away. Leaving us in a state of permanent fear of lawfare and abuse and enormous waiting lists.

Without spoiling anything specific, its wild how few of the mysteries of Control are even acknowledged in this game.
It also really does feel like time froze between the two games. Did seriously nothing interesting happen in the Oldest House for SEVEN YEARS!

I wish the songs in Control Resonant (except for one) were chapter breaks instead of just randomly played (except for that one) at the end of certain missions.
One of them, that was supposed to be a big moment was ruined by some real bad audio glitching which I'm sure will be fixed, but even then.

I've played the oppening hours of Control Resonant. It does not leave a flawless first impression.
Does a bad job of building into its oppening, something the first game did a great job at. Doesn't reintroduce the world very well either.

I really like a lot about Fortunes Weave, but the big thing I miss about 3H is having a larger stable of units that are connected.
In FW, you have maybe three or four units other than the runs lord who have story agency.
Everyone else doesn't show up in cutscenes and has limited supports.

I'm not digging to much into Control Resonant reviews cause spoilers, but I do find the one video I watched where the guy only talks about the repetetive combat to be very funny.

I'm sure for some this removal of friction will be a negative, not a positive, but I appreciate that while Fortunes Weave is really interested in simulating how long it takes to travel, when a main quest starts it just decides to teleport you back to the city.
