My 2026 book signing tour is officially over, and oh lordie, did I have an absolute blast this year! 💙📚

Thank you all who came to see me this year! Warm thanks if you also purchased one of my novels. I hope my writing didn't traumatize you too much.🤭

I'll be in Breda next, if you want to say hi.🥰

I am Dutch, so every morning I grab my emmertje & my wooden clogs and I go fight the sea.⚔️🌊

I go out there, and punch the sea, and beat it back with a long stick, and I tell it to back off! 💪

It usually listens except for that one time in 1953...👀

Morgan Hetherington of 3D Retro Tributes FB group sent a box of 3D prints he modeled for me to sign for an MS charity drive. Really fun to hold physical reproductions of games I’ve worked on! Next, ship them to him in Ireland! #gamedev #retrogame #ZakMcKracken #RescueOnFractalus #ThimbleweedPark

The prints look unbelievably game-accurate and gorgeous! 🥰❤️They take me back to a beautiful time, when I was having so much fun with #ZakMcKraken, #MonkeyIsland, #ThimbleweedPark and the rest of your witty, beautiful #retrogame creations.

Thank you for a magical childhood, David! @davidbfox.com 👾❤️🎮

Morena Maai also sent me a version just with Vivian Amberville and Kaap. She added all the other characters in a later build. Shared here with her expressed permission.

I reckon she really captured the essence of the book characters, especially book2 💙📚

When someone says “Vivian Amberville”, as a book series, they generally think of 5 things: 1. They think of intricate TIME LOOPS that fold time and space into impossible shapes; 2. They think of POCKET REALITIES, such as liminal spaces and cosmic backrooms, where time is both instant and infinite; 3. They think of reality-warping COMPLEX MAGIC SYSTEMS where different characters can fold, twist, bend, loop or even cut the very fabric of REALITY itself; 4. They think of a dense, TAPESTRY-LIKE PLOT supported by a huge cast of characters, each with their own unique character arc; 5. and finally, they think of eldritch creatures from the abyss of reality, which adds certain elements of COSMIC HORROR to the narrative. ✨Achievement Unlocked✨: survived my first Gamescom! What tremendous fun it has been!🧡

In-between a busy #booksigning tour & having to be on a film set, I could only attend for 1 business day (tho that's definitely changing next year!)🤘🏻

I've been saying no to a lot of interviews actually, due to scheduling limitations. But I'm doing a lot of in-person meetup-ups (book signings, business conferences, etc.) as well as spending a lot of time on the film set. Doing lots of writing as well (2 new short-stories & 1/2 book).✒️

(I painted a wee artwork related to where you are at in the book, but I'm afraid it doesn't quite do it justice.🥲)

#5Stars is a magnificent apocalyptic tale full of gore and violence. Which I loved.

The #VivianAmberville books are a gentler more magical fatanstic storyline which are also unputdownable.

And I got tea in my shipment! 😍😍😍
