I remember before Lazada would automatically paste from my clipboard without me asking when I opened the app. This was years ago when I still had an iPhone and this would happen for everything, even passwords I copy pasted from my password manager.
We've developed a secure paste feature replacing traditional clipboard APIs. Users will be able to take away clipboard access from apps to use this instead. It integrates into the standard selection toolbar, input methods, accessibility services and keyboard shortcuts. We plan to get it merged soon.

The animation chat has me thinking one telling thing - in the years since AI arrived, there's not been a ground-up indie phenomenon, like we saw with earlier tech (Flash, etc). It hasn't unlocked anyone's creativity. For all the anti-gatekeeping rhetroic, nothing anyone cares about has been born.

Do people still like VFX breakdowns? Our upcoming short film has a lot of them but most are either invisible or basic. We did a lot of screen replacements and paint outs.

Wowa and I spent the past few weeks choosing what to cut and what to keep, and now we've landed exactly at 20mins flat. Not a single frame more or less.

Making closed captions and subtitles is tedious as hell but making our film more accessible makes it feel worth while. Especially since I have a grandmother who has difficulty hearing.

Basil got me the Velociraptor toys from the Jurassic Park trilogy + a resonating chamber for my bday.
We actually had a long discussion before about the raptor designs. Personally both the design and performance of the raptors from JP3 were peak. Genuinely felt like an intelligent animal predator.
