Big praise for @taylordahlin.com for coming to the Schultz hearing and helping people understand how wonderful Robert was and what he meant to the community. She also came to my press conference and documented the process thoroughly so people could understand what was happening. She is a treasure.
i’m at hennepin county government center for the culmination of the case against taylor schulz, who killed robert skafte in oak grove grocery in loring park in 2023. robert was a beloved community member and this is a very sad day. many of his loved ones are in court today
saw a bunch of cops up the street 2 hours ago near c david george’s building and assumed it was something there, but i just found out why they’re (still) there and it’s really bad

i feel like there's a lot of benefit of the doubt being given to the nicollet mall events and i just want to remind people that transit being removed for these is not disruptive to the city, it's not an inconvenience, it's the entire point to the events and they told us this already. it's all public

Despite everything that had happened this past year and specifically what has happened in the last day, there is no other neighborhood and city I'd rather live in.

Gun violence is pervasive in American culture. You don't tune in until it impacts your neighborhood and even then, it has become so common you become desensitized to it. What happened in Loring Park, my neighborhood, is part of this culture. [1]

This is where the overlay district for data centers could potentially be. I strongly oppose this. Our city should not give up its future land use to Big tech’s shareholders.

There is a lack of political will for a data center ban, so downtown was carved out- no more should be added.

Peggy Flanagan Wins the DFL Primary for U.S. Senate!

She knows what working families are up against because she’s lived it, and she’ll never lose sight of who she’s fighting for.

Peggy Flanagan’s grassroots campaign proves the many will always beat the money.

There was so many events in the Twin Cities this weekend it was overwhelming. I choose the Pencil Sharpening, Grand Ole Day, Train Days, and Open Streets Lyndale. Lots of fun but now severely sunburned, ope.

The cake was so amazing. It was an honor and dream come true to serve @repkatiejones.bsky.social and District 61A this past legislative session. I'm looking forward to continuing my public service in pursuit of a more equitable and multimodal Minnesota.
Shout out to @ktbriggs.bsky.social for being the BEST legislative assistant! He raised the bar for the role, esp as we got to nerd out on transit. I thanked him for his work w/ a cake featuring @metrotransitmn.bsky.social metro lines. I wish him the best @ his next stop as a MNDOT transpo planner!

HCMC will continue to serve patients because of @aishagomez.bsky.social & Rep. Agbaje in the House. These representatives are the heroes of the MN legislature in brokering a solution for this critical Minnesota hospital. It also would not have happened but for the advocacy of @hennepind2.com. ♥️🙏♥️

This'll be a great opportunity to recap the 2026 Legislative Session, hear from neighbors, and begin the work of crafting solutions to bring back to the Minnesota House.

I hope to see you there!
