<p>"Kittleson is a journalist whose reporting contributes to press freedom in the MENA region and beyond. She must be located, released, and returned to safety immediately," the group said </p>

Germany’s Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul has voiced doubts about expanding the European Union’s Aspides naval mission to the Strait of Hormuz.
Wadephul said the operation protecting shipping in the Red Sea has been “not effective”.
“And that is why I am very sceptical that extending Aspides to the Strait of Hormuz would provide greater security.”

‘Dispersal’ is new to me (oops), but this gives a helpful read of how the French nukes sharing could be read:
I'm just reading the speech and I am not sure if US nuclear sharing/foreign nuclear deployments are the right way to think about the dispersal of French strategic air force assets. At least to me, I understand it more as a dispersal concept to increase survivability, like Agile Combat Employment.

Dat was eignl ‘kwantitatief’ - na juni 2025 was het Iraanse atoomprogramma flink uitgestampt, daarvan ging geen strategische nucl dreiging (meer) uit.
