While a lot of things I'm going for are (imo) improvements, having no bombs at all in a bullet hell definitely is deliberately breaking a genre convention.
It stems from me personally not liking bombing in Shmups, in short, it becomes a button you use less and less the better you get. #indiedev

Has anyone used Shmup Creator at all here? My son is obsessed with Gradius at the moment and I've read some good things about it. He's really good with Doom Builder and while he's learning basic coding, he just wants to make a game! It sounds like the kind of thing I would have loved as a kid.

You can either play it unlocked (60 FPS and harder) or play the Origin version (60 FPS with speed controls for fair difficulty).
