A new mega poll by YouGov reveals that an overwhelming majority of constituencies want to rejoin the EU. Only 4 constituencies were not sure.

It’s time to put EU membership on the table.

Absolutely fantastic book, written with both passion and detailed knowledge.

Also…should be required reading for our new PM and his Cabinet, as well as for local councillors.
There's a signed copy available for purchase in @bricklanebookshop.bsky.social. Hurry while stocks last. 😊

It’s……George Cottrell’s account.

[with apologies to Wagatha Christie]
Richard Tice appears to have used more than half a million pounds he received from the mother of Nigel Farage’s long-term aide George Cottrell to convert loans he had made to Reform UK into donations. ft.trib.al/YwfH2uZ

In which our Mayor recites all the facts/figures about the economic value of culture, then goes on to say:

“To me, the best argument is even more basic: Britain’s national story is a global story. If that story is to belong to all of us, then so must the places where it is told.” 💯

What if one of the best things about London was free?

It is.

Our museums and galleries welcome millions of people every year, proving that access to culture shouldn't depend on what's in your wallet.

It’s profoundly sad that the small Latin American businesses of Elephant and Castle that served their communities so well - and gave the area an identity - were erased for the “banal anywhere” likes of Blank Street.
This week the first business at the new Elephant & Castle shopping centre site redevelopment opened its doors to customers - coffee and matcha chain Blank Street

Best long read on #RejoinEU (or “join”, if you prefer) that I’ve seen. All the options thoroughly weighed up, and a 💯 compelling case for Brenter-ing…or whatever.
Rejoin is coming: Talk of the customs union and single market is a distraction. Only full membership offers a compelling vision of Britain's future
