Steichen is a decent offensive mind, he got the best out of some limited guys and is in an almost impossible situation with an overbearing owner, but I also think he isn't cut out to be a head coach. You have to go for it there HAVE TO. He shelled up. Show him the door.

A lot of the Kota Ibushi stuff is reminding me of Morishima's late career. He's only ever been a pro wrestler and very clearly has never thought about what life after that could be. I just hope or his sake he has a support network around him because been rough since his g1 injury years ago.

It was 20 years and a lot of projects for Sam Raimi going from The Evil Dead to the first Spider Man film. Filmmakers are lucky if they reach three films before they get trusted into big franchise/high budget work.

If you want to see everything I hate about modern film discourse particularly as it relates to social media. Cold RT scores with no context being used as an arbiter of the film's quality, people happily sharing said score thus doing marketing and the trade's jobs for them.

The Death Stranding games while not unpopular were modest hits in comparison to Kojima’s other work. Even going back to his days as a producer, there’s a reason why even Metal Gear wasn’t enough to give him grace with Konami.

I don't think I've ever seen a boutique label lose their way quite like VS, still love a lot of their releases and buy during the sales but seeing what they charge for some releases vs what they provide is actually quite cringe inducing. I'm certain there's other factors but it feels a bit scummy
