There’s only like two congregations in my entire state that even own their own buildings because the expenses are nuts and everyone else is renting a space or it’s Chabad in literally just some dude’s house.
Meanwhile you can easily run a church in its own building where the only FTE is a minister.

Also, as came up in a previous discussion, the minimum viable synagogue size is significantly larger than the minimum viable church because of the increased security (and thus financial) needs of minority religious institutions.

It’s the annual thing to build permission to not vote while pretending it’s for a principle and people should still take you and your chosen grifter pundit seriously. We go through it every single cycle and people always fall for it.

Amy Catalano’s A Global History of Child Death: Mortality, Burial, and Parental Attitudes changed my outlook a lot and put a ton of things in perspective, and helped me put my job in a funeral home in context.
It has also radicalized me more than anything else could wrt public health.

It’s a weirdly common thing in isekai slop, but runs into the usual issues with those sucking.
But tbh if a wizard isn’t being used at the operational level or in combat engineering they’re probably being wasted in general. There’s a place for Tim the Human Trebuchet, but it’s not at the front.

Spending eighty grand on a half-ton truck is honestly grounds for a divorce. It’s just so fucking stupid. Either get an actual work truck and use it (like a 2500 Cumminsif you’re actually going to tow,) or buy a mustang and spend the savings on hair implants.

Whatever the correct framing of this shitshow is, it definitely isn’t this.
Also treating a pregnancy as a kind of chattel is all kinds of fucked and we should maybe not do that in a way this’d be a possible failure state.

This’d vaguely have a point if it wasn’t Ohio. Like the state’s an infamously miserable shithole, and there’s not much work outside thr college towns the state government hates. People bitch about CA housing prices because 12% percent of the US pop lives there, and probably 1/3 of the sentient ones.
Home prices in most of America are highly affordable. Take Cleveland, Ohio for example. Problem is too many young people want to live in LA, SF, Seattle, Boston, New York etc. Places people live in movies and TV shows.
