Advocates say people in energy poverty are being left out of provincial aid, as nearly 8,000 applications that were denied for a home heating rebate this past winter would have met the criteria in years gone by.

A giant gold mining project is proposed for Nova Scotia's Eastern Shore. This mega project is being “streamlined” by the federal government, meaning a proper assessment of the risks would be bypassed.

My lifelong football club #Arsenal have won the P League title after 22 years of hurt, narrow second place finishes and, ultimately, tactical and mental perseverance.
