Very happy with how this came out. Poofy clothes are so fun to draw. Happy Pride everyone! 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

Two knights in full armor are embracing one another on a white background. One knight is laying in the lap of the other as their helms are pressed against each other in a pose that looks like kissing. Lavender grows to stage left of the couple.

MLK was only 39 when he was killed. Growing up, I thought that was old. But I’m 43 now and I’m stunned by the burden he shouldered at such a young age. I’m also a lot more aware of how hard it is, at any age, to carry the hopes and dreams of an oppressed people on your shoulders, as so many do.

Every extra hour that ICE spends facing off with activists is an hour they can't spend kidnapping other people.

Every extra minute ICE has to spend contingency planning around activists and neighbors, every extra officer ICE has to put on a kidnap squad, is a drain on their efficiency.

Human artists, use only one piece to convince people to follow you.

An oldie but a big favorite of mine. It's a mock book cover I had rolling around in my head for a while.
I want to go hard into environment pieces like this this year.

if you haven't read this essay yet, i highly, highly recommend: data-workers.org/michael/
This is not just about better working conditions. This is about recognizing that you cannot build ethical AI on the foundation of exploited, traumatized human labor. If the training data comes from people who were psychologically destroyed in the process of creating it, then the technology itself is tainted from the start. We deserve better. The users being deceived deserve better. And the future of AI must be built on something other than our broken humanity. Until then, remember that an AI girlfriend responding to your loneliness might just be a man in a Nairobi slum, wondering if he'll ever feel real love again.
