Being in the hospital is hard. I have chronic conditions that are well controlled (now), so hospitals are not new to me but I was admitted in the hospital for the first time since my kiddo was born. It’s so much harder with a toddler I desperately want to get back to. Just venting.

Reminder: acceptance of your child is bare minimum. They're your child and the contract is unconditional love. Requiring detransitioning to appease extended family, continued misgendering, etc are not what your kiddo deserves. Love them wholeheartedly and protect them from anyone who offers less.
