New preprint 📣! We reanalysed stress granule transcriptomes and found differential centrifugation is strongly biased by RNA length. Correcting for this erases most reported overlap. Mitochondrial RNAs remain as a modest signal, hinting at immune signalling. doi.org/10.64898/202...

Garbage In, Plot Out 🧠

On World Cancer Day, Francisca's PhD project was awarded an Oncology Research Grant by the Portuguese League Against Cancer (Southern Regional Center) and the Benfica Foundation, to support her work on testing predictive biomarkers of therapeutic response in rectal cancer. 🙏🦀⚕️💪
