🧵 Drone strikes on Yandex data centers disrupted services across Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Serbia. Serbia hosts Yandex's largest international office and engineering hub outside of Russia, with 1500-2000 employees. ⬇️
The Yandex datacenter in Vladimir received drone sanctions, and is currently being migrated to the cloud.

According to the Yandex status board, all Yandex services are completely unavailable in Russia.

Maybe targeting our datacenters was a bad idea. Enjoy your digital detox.📵

The Commission is surrendering Europeans to Trump and his thugs. They WILL abuse. Even prior to Trump personal data of US critics were used for blacklisting. The Commission will claim it is all in line with EU law. They know it is a lie. But litigation takes years, they get away with it.
MEPs say 🇪🇺President von der Leyen has again capitulated to Trump - agreeing to hand over Europeans' private data to US authorities for visitor visas.

"The bully won" says Dutch Liberal MEP @raquelgarciaher.bsky.social. "European authorities will be asked to share their data on you automatically..."

Imagine things being so bad that your best solution is to cut yourself off from Google Search traffic.

I don't think that people realise just how much of a bad actor Google has been, for year. No other company has damaged the web nearly as much. 🧵

This is correct. The EPP is rolling back climate progress as we face a historic heat wave, undermining tech sovereignty through the Digital Omnibus, pushing far right positions on immigration, and seeking to eliminate encryption protections as authoritarianism rises.

Time to cut them loose.
