Last night, the government cut off debate on Bill C-22. It would not have changed the outcome, but NDP MPs did not even vote on the motion. Committee then went to nearly 1:00 am voting on dozens of amendments that no one discussed or debated. Truly shameful.

Well past midnight and the votes continue on Bill C-22 amendments. Just amendment numbers with no discussion, no debate, and no way for the public to even know what is being voted on.

With Gary Anandasangaree invoking "you're with us or with the criminals" language as the government seeks to shut down debate on Bill C-22, he would do well to remember how Liberal MPs reacted to that approach years ago on a different lawful access bill.

When you actually run a distributed network you understand how many god damn fiber cuts happen all the fucking time
Servers may have eaten too much turkey and passed out
(We’re diagnosing but it looks like a regional network connectivity issue outside our systems)
