Coming soon: THOMAS JEFFERSON'S SPEEDWAY HELL: Dangerous Playtest Edition
It's a tabletop RPG where sinners race through Hell to win brief moments of peace. It's handled with tremendous silliness.

Red Markets 2.1E Beta: Get the Cybertruck!
A group of takers are hired to retrieve a flash drive from the glove box of a cybertruck currently located in an abandoned shopping mall. Unfortunately, the only way to safely open the glovebox is through the cybertruck software, which required recharging the vehicle and jailbreaking the software, all the while in a mall overrun with the infected. The mall is near a paranoid enclave that views the mall as their turf, another complicating factor.

Tried some VERY low light photography yesterday when I went to Marvel Cave in Branson, MO. The photo I took of the tour guide is at ISO 20,000 - I chose not to denoise it because I think it looks better without it. I used a 25mm F 1.7 lens on a Lumix GH6.

I seldom find essays that speak directly to me but this one about the appeal of Neil Breen did. I agree that Breen's appeal is due largely to his immunity to cult celebrity and the joy in watching 'trash' movies. www.newyorker.com/culture/the-...
Cinema Lessons from a Trash-Movie Auteur
Why do we love trash and hate slop? Neil Breen’s so-bad-they’re-great movies elucidate the difference.

how many structural issues do you see making this a doom endeavor from the start? I can think of 6 just off the top of my head.
This is where the 1% will go to restart civilization after a nuclear attack.

But it for me thinking: what if the uber wealthy built these bunkers for more people — and not for nuclear attacks but for the climate crisis that will get us all — instead of trying to leave the planet?

Sonic has to increase the magnitude of his vertical velocity
In 1994, Phillips was contracted to make a Sonic the Hedgehog game for the CDI, however Phillips cancelled the project because “Sonic’s arms were blue in the gameplay. This was a fatal flaw that we cannot put past us, as we at Phillips do not believe in making imperfections.”

we've all heard the pasta rule in campaign for north africa but this beats it
One of my all-time favorite rules, from Pea Ridge (1980). The designer's great-great-grandfather fought in the battle, and if his unit takes damage you roll a die to see if he survives.

If he dies, the designer is never born, and the game doesn't exist, and so automatically ends in a draw.

Delta Green: Veriform
Barnaby Rice, insurance investigator was found dead in Lufkin Texas. Someone ate his gastrointestinal tract. Such a specific form of cannibalism alerted the program, which activated four agents to investigate the strange death. Rice was investigating a company selling peptides when he died. What connection does the company have with his death? The agents find a horrific conspiracy lurking in the small town and even worse occult secrets.
