I was recently diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder called anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis. It's a "disease of chaos" that completely upturned my life for a couple months.

I wrote a blog about it that goes into more detail and discusses prognosis. :-)

My family asked where Fall is. Before I could answer, one of my kids said “Fall is stuck in traffic.” So true, and an analogy we can all understand.

5/22 Soggy stretch ahead. WPC's 7-day rainfall forecast puts Middle TN in the 2–3" range through next Friday — not a washout, but plan on several rounds of rain and storms. The heaviest totals stay south & east of us toward the Gulf. We'll keep you posted on any severe potential along the way.

6:04 pm, The storms appear to be weakening. In fact, they appear to be below severe levels as they're coming in to Middle Tennessee. Not letting our guard down yet, but this is a good sign. Wouldn't be surprised to get some gusty winds on the back side of the rain though.

"...if passed, the bill would require actual age verification, instead of mere voluntary age reporting that current state-level bills cover. It also seems to eschew the concept of age brackets, giving application developers access to specific ages of users instead."
