This is nuts AND...290 people attended in-person (with another 230 online).

Pathetic showing from a small & unpopular but very loud group that has hijacked American public health to our deep detriment.
“On Thursday, Mr. Gorton said that “the success of the polio vaccine was a massive medical fraud” and that widespread vaccination was a “public health disaster.” He received a standing ovation…

Mr. Kennedy spoke next, linking arms with the group even as measles cases continue to rise”
RFK Jr. Assures Vaccine Skeptics They Have a ‘Friend at the White House’
The health secretary spoke at a conference featuring misinformation about vaccines, including a claim that the success of the polio vaccines was a “fraud.”

Hiring McAfee is of course what made gameday finally unwatchable, but the downgrade from Fowler to Reece Davis is when the quality really started to slide

Pro tip: anyone who says the Ellisons don't care about ratings or wanted this to happen because they have more money than God is not someone worth listening to.

You buy CBS to buy influence. If no one watches, you don't have any
Bari Weiss has plunged CBS News into ratings calamity.

—"Evening News" has posted worst ratings of 21st century

—"CBS Mornings" has posted worst ratings of 21st century

—And now "60 Minutes" has posted worst ratings of 21st century

Bari’s ‘60’ Bust
Bari Weiss blew up “60 Minutes," ostensibly to create a better show. Instead, her revamped premiere just suffered its worst debut ratings of the 21st century—what one longtime TV executive told Status...

This is just white people correcting our own cultural appropriation.
A while ago I saw a post that said “White people don’t say ‘It do be like that’ anymore. They say ‘Many such cases.” And I have never felt more called out.

My hot take about the 2016 election is that not only is it true that Clinton was the only Democrat who could have lost to Trump, but Trump was the only Republican who could have beaten Clinton
Revisiting pre-Trump conservatism...Clinton probably could've beaten Ted Cruz in 2016 huh
A famous tweet?

If the liberal justices had to choose between the Medicaid expansion and the exchanges, they made the right choice
it’s even worse than this. Roberts cut a deal *with the liberals* to trade the exchanges for the mandatory Medicaid expansion, and they agreed to it because judges don’t know shit about policy or have any policy staff
probably the most heavily debated "policy" in my lifetime was Obamacare and the result of it was not that any of the debates got resolved, John Roberts just randomly took a meat clever and excised like half the stuff in it on a whim. Who cares if that's how actual policy gets made.

In the last 5 Ohio State games decided by 10 or fewer points, they've lost four, and he's been outcoached by Sark (the only one he's beaten), Mario and Sherrone Moore.

And then what happened?
Ohio State hasn’t lost to three straight power conference opponents since this run:

- the Urban Meyer Sad Pizza B1G Championship
- a loss to Clemson in the Orange Bowl
- the early defeat to Virginia Tech in 2014

Day is a very difficult coach to evaluate because on the one hand his teams are basically always well-prepared and he wins almost all his games, but when Ohio State loses it seems like it is directly his fault.

But 13-10 was worse, "run it at the pair of all American DTs 30 times" was a bad plan
This will be Ryan Day's worst performance at Ohio State if it happens, right? Just strictly on game management. Disasterclass the last five minutes. Is he dealing with personal stuff tonight?
September 13, 2026 at 3:07 AM
Nope, just stress and relief
Do Ohio State Football fans enjoy watching their team? They expect to win every game and are right to do so with their material advantages. Is there joy in their fandom?
