81 years ago Parisian people started an uprising in their occupied city, and with the help from the Free French army, their Spanish Republican elements and their American and British allies. We kicked some nazi asses until they surrendered the city on the 25th of August 1944.

A reminder that things have actively gotten worse for trans people under Labour.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I feel no safer as a trans woman in the UK now, under a Labour government, than I did a year ago, under the Tories. A "gender-critical" consensus has formed in the two biggest parties: trans people are a burden, trans kids do not/should not exist etc.

It's high time we stopped being measured about how we discuss the reactionary panic surrounding trans youth.
The conservative position is that parents have a right to abuse their children in any way they wish, and that abuse regarded is righteous and justified if the goal is to prevent transition.

How the fuck are you supposed to find a missing trans kid without using the name they would be using for themselves?
New — The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) was told this week by DOJ that they'd lose their funding if the org didn't remove any mentions of LGBTQIA+ issues from their public materials, I've learned. Staff were told they need to deadname trans kids in their reports to comply.
